The Inspiration:
Scaffolding lit up against a night sky, all frame and no wall. Made for the woman who leaves space in the structure and knows exactly why it holds.

The Design:
Large open rectangles run the length of this wide bracelet, each frame outlined on all four sides with round brilliant cut diamonds claw-set in a continuous row and the centre left completely hollow. Short diamond-set bars sit crosswise between the rectangles, joining one frame to the next like the rungs of a ladder and keeping the row of stones unbroken from end to end. The open centres let skin show through, so the piece stays airy despite its width, and the articulated joints let the whole band curve around the wrist. It fastens with a box clasp and a hinged safety catch tucked underneath.
