The Design:
A marquise cut diamond lies horizontally in a white gold bezel that comes to a sharp point at each end, following the stone's navette outline exactly. The elongated brilliant faceting runs the length of the stone, catching light in a long ribbon from tip to tip. Fine links attach directly to the two pointed ends of the bezel, joining a slim white gold cable chain that keeps the pendant lying flat. The setting is entirely closed and smooth — one pointed oval of gold holding one pointed oval of light.
