The Inspiration:
Two kites crossing paths in a wide open sky, neither one giving way. Made for the woman who leaves the loop deliberately open, and lets people find their own way in.

The Design:
Two rounded triangular frames sit at the open ends of this bypass cuff, each one outlined in small round brilliant cut diamonds and left hollow through the centre. Inside every frame, a cluster of round brilliants is claw-set on fine gold arms in a star-like arrangement, floating clear of the outer border with open space all around it. The slim gold arms of the cuff are pavé-set along their outer face and taper as they run back, passing each other at the wrist so the two shields sit offset rather than meeting head on. There is no clasp — the band is a rigid open cuff that slips on from the side.
