The Design:
A round brilliant cut diamond hangs from a tall, fluted white gold bail, gripped by paired double claws that split at each point to hold the stone from six directions. The doubled prongs give the setting an antique, tiara-like look while leaving the pavilion open to the light. The ribbed bail flares outward at the top where it meets the chain, adding a little vintage flourish above the plain stone. It hangs on a fine white gold cable chain worn alone.
